OET Preparation in Multan & Online
LingoLab & Career Counselling offers OET preparation for nurses, doctors, dentists, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. Classes run on-campus at Office 3-4, Opposite BZU Main Gate, Education Avenue, Multan, and live online across Pakistan and the Gulf. Office hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

What Is OET?
The Occupational English Test (OET) is an English test made only for healthcare professionals. Every task uses real clinical situations, so good OET preparation also improves the English you use at work.

OET Test Format: 4 Sub-Tests
Listening, Reading and Writing are taken together; Speaking is a live role-play test with an interlocutor. Our OET preparation covers all four.
Listening
About 40 minutes
Three parts: patient consultation extracts, short workplace audio, and healthcare talks or lectures.
Reading
60 minutes
Three parts, starting with a fast 15-minute task across short healthcare texts.
Writing
45 minutes
One letter from case notes, such as a referral or discharge letter, for your profession.
Speaking
About 20 minutes
Two role plays of about 5 minutes each, with you as the professional and the interlocutor as the patient or carer.
OET Scores and Grades
Each sub-test is scored from 0 to 500 and given a grade from A to E. Our OET preparation starts by finding your current grade in each sub-test.

Where can I get OET preparation in Multan?
At LingoLab & Career Counselling, Office 3-4, Opposite BZU Main Gate, Education Avenue, Multan, 60000. We are open Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and also teach live online across Pakistan and the Gulf.
What OET score do I need?
Most healthcare regulators ask for Grade B (350 out of 500) in each sub-test, and some accept a lower Writing score. The GMC asks for Grade B in all four sub-tests in one sitting. Always check your regulator's current rules.
Is OET different for nurses and doctors?
Yes, partly. Listening and Reading are the same for all 12 professions, while Writing and Speaking use tasks from your own profession, such as the Nursing or Medicine version.
Is OET easier than IELTS for healthcare workers?
Many healthcare professionals find OET more natural because every task uses clinical situations. It is not automatically easier, so our free assessment shows which test suits you better.
Do you conduct OET exams?
No. LingoLab is not an OET test venue. We prepare you for the test and guide you to book it with OET directly.
